Wow, I got Super NES games for Santaday from my brother.

With my recent acquisition of a laptop, and then subsequent destruction of said laptop's charger, I realized that I've been alienating my online friends. I've been appearing offline whenever I log in because of people who just message me with "Hello how are you?" Trust me, there's a few. I'm sorry if you've been missing me, but I promise I'll be back soon. I just need to gather myself up and try t reforge some lost friendships..

Wii post FTW! (Thank Santa they finallly added USB keyboard support. Although I am skilled with the remotes.)
Firstly, I'm really excited. Don't ask why, cos I really don't know!
Secondly, life updates and shtuffs. Okay, so I have some local friends. I normally don't tell people outright that I'm gay and furry. Notsomuch because I'm scared to, bt because it really isn't their business, but these people are so good to be around that I was comfortable enough to say it.
Of course it took more than one round, firstabouts came the gay thing. A couple of more mildly trusted people were talking about a person at the school who was openly gay, saying things like 'he acts gay' I was kinda confused as to how someone 'acts gay' in a public school without getting arrested. So I asked them "how does someone act gay?" Apparently, it was the way he talks and the way he dresses that makes him gay. So I told these folks of my sexual orientation. And they didn't believe me! Like I'd lie about being gay.
I was quite a bit more comfortable with the next few people I told and it kinda started off with me telling them how much I adore Tails, ad then telling them about a picture drawn by an artist that goes by TwoTails depicting a Tails lookalike giving a bj to Shippo. and my love of said picture.
And omg two of them drew pictures of Tailsy for me, one was a traditional looking (and soo cuute) picture of Tailsy looking all embarassed. I don't know if she has a gallery where you can check out her wares, but her style is drop dead adorable.
The next drawing, by Grace AKA Tauvuranu ( http://tauvuranu.deviantart.com ) Was an also cute mid-teen looking Tails winking, flashing a V sign with a heart nearby that says "Ron" in it, wearing glasses (eek!) and a mid-tucked button shirt and shin-length shorts. ogosh I fell in love those days! Thank you Grace and Sarah ;-; You are my Santa and Jesus of the Month!
And Bob, who shares my love of Shippo! (I think)
Apologies for any missed typos, it's really hard to keep track f them when you can only see two lines as you type! ^^;

K so I got a copy of Phantom Hourglass and this is my preliminary review, of course I'm eventually gonna finish the game, but after the first half hour (of actually being able to play, there was a longish cutscene to sit through) I find the game to be a little underwhelming when it comes to Zelda. The graphics are okay, especially during the cutscenes, but there's no camera control and the combat is tedious. (slide stylus across screen to attack.) You also have to use the touch screen to move, so sometimes I ended up walking into an enemy instead of killing it, Which got me killed once. x.x
So yeah, so far a disappointment.
In other, possibly more important news, My dance class (Me included! x3 ) Is gonna perform at the Alaska Performing Arts Center.. like.. a real theater with people in it and such. http://www.alaskapac.org/ Somewhere around May 11th.

So I peeled my eyes off my TV (lol Halo 3) for a moment to post to my LJ.
Dance class is one of the best things I've ever chosen to do, I've gained a lot of confidence in my footing, I get struck with urges to break down and disco while just walking along, they're getting harder and harder to resist, and I'm surprisingly proud of the fact that I can, Tango, Swing and Latin. Haha guys, Hamlover can spin the girls, whodathunkit?
In other news, FUCK Super Paper Mario. It doesn't take itself seriously, I know the previous games had some eccentric characters, but the big bad guy is a joke, storywise. Along with every other character, it takes the gimmick way too far, and the gameplay stops a little too often so you can switch to a different character. "Oh, you can't reach the next ledge? Stop and switch to Princess. Whoop? Can't get over that ledge? Switch to Mario and FLIP INTO 3D. AWESOME GAMEPLAY GIMMICK. Luigi and his ability to BE JUST LIKE MARIO except without the ability to flip to 3D is also a plus.
Long, boring UNSKIPPABLE cutscenes filled with annoying text scrolling and badly written characters and a ton of tedious "Go here talk come back do this go back talk some more" 'gameplay' sealed the casket of this game I was so excited about.
This game was SUCH a disappointment.

So ok. Had my first day today and it was pretty good.
I burned through like a few weeks worth of busywork on this Plato program that's supposed to test my knowledge of classes I failed. So far its going great. damn I'm already 1/5 of the way through a credit on my first day!
I AM IN DANCE CLASS! wtf! I learned basic step-touch, rocking horse and swishing today. I'm about as nimble as a cannonball. I was doing okay until we had to do Candyman or getting in the mood or some thing. I had a partner who was quiet and boring but suddenly we had to switch partners. And this huge hulk of a girl steps up to me. I like to think I'm pretty tall and big. But she was taller and bigger and we had to do 'under the bridge' at count 7-8. Where she goes under my arm. Goes without saying.. I ended up on my back.
Also this random guy came up and asked if I wanted a hug as though I had a choice in the matter. Yay, my first relationship!

I found a way to cheat on Plato already. It's just these simple flash programs with a point and click, or click and type interface, if you fail a test ti's supposed to lock up. But if you fail the test, close the flash program and press back or delete. Presto you get a second shot at it. If you use Plato, use this trick.

Wow, a real entry for once.
It's 7ish, I was jolted awake by the sound of my brother's alarm. (Friggin' Dido) So my brothers and sister were carted off to the daily drudgery that is Middle School and I realized oh shit! I have ANOTHER new school to attend. I'm taking my placement and evaluation test at Burchell Alternative today and I have to become in-public Hamlover. You know, cheerful, chipper and only a wee bit cynical. Gonna make one or two solid friends and then use every moron that walks by as fodder for laughs between me and these solid friends.
I also have to find a job that's within biking or jogging distance from home or the school, because there's two class-in times, days are 3 hours, but you have to have a job to be able to attend. I don't know how this is gonna work with only one vehicle lying around. By the time I get home it'll be midnight every day. I think this is gonna be a joy.
Oh well, at least maybe I'll get in better shape if I do end up running everywhere.

Oh yeah, my cat, Grandpa is living with us now and I've already lost hours just cuddling her. As it turns out, I'm still the only one she doesn't mind being around.

Okay, so I said I'd be gone for a bit. But that was before I got this here ds browser seriously. I'm typing on my DS right now. It is easier to use than the psp. It also has this neat handwritjng Tuol that duesn't always recognize letters right. It also seems to not limit how much I type. psp had like a 200 character limit. no tabs is annoying Though.

For some strange reason, Shaboba an old, not-so-great friend decided to go off on me again and this time block me for whatever reason (I seriously don't know! o.o ) It made me kinda sad, which is kinda sad considering the way this fucker liked to treat me. But after the fact, and looking back.. It really wasn't worth it to pursue his friendship every time he's done this. So I guess I'm done.
By the way, something very nice happened for me in the past couple days and it has my spirits high. Unfortuneately that's all I can say about it ;-;
This isn't much of an update. But here's a bonus: a huge, no, disproportionately hugeantic part of what makes me like a place to live is the shower strength. Funny I know. But the shower is my comfort zone, where I unwind from whatever's troubling me. And the shower where I am now was a pitiful, sad little trickle. And I hated it. But the last time I was under the sad little trickle, I noticed a large disk-shaped object behind the showerhead. confused as to why that was there, I of course decide to unscrew the showerhead and take it off, I replaced the showerhead without the object and FOOSH. A lovely jet of joy sprayed right in my eyes.
I swear I cried when that happened, because I hadn't had a real Hamlover shower in months.
Vile demon filter that sapped the joy of my favorite time of the day. I hate it.
Also, the hot water heater that is supposed to sate 4 apartments is still not enough for me.

Okay.. E3.
For pete's sake, E3 should be about new stuff, not stuff everyone knows about with a couple of new trailers. Nobody had any particularly strong showing, Nothing I can think of was really noteworthy, and nobody's buzzing. It just wasn't "E3". it was "umm. e3? maybe.." Although Raiden did get kinda cool when he was fighting Vamp. No new Zelda, no new hardware. no no nothing that I hadn't seen before that caught my interest.
So I bought a big ol' can of Folger's because my time spent in the boondocks of Delta Junction turned me into a black coffee man. And I knew how to scare up a brew with but a paper plate and a funnel. But my mom surprised me today with a real coffee maker. I enjoyed me a brew of real filtered stuff and it was good.
But it doesn't mix well with potato chips. ick.
Hmm, This is supposed to be the end, but I'm still unsatisfied, maybe a quiz or something.
